Howdy. SO! I got this wonderful review from munchinmonster after they read Predator Turned Prey.
I've got a ton, but I decided it's time to share these reviews, so long as the reviewer gives me permission to. If you have a review about the book, please feel free to post it, but make sure you note if it has spoilers! And for those of you reading to get a feel for the story via reviews, please pick one without any spoiler warnings ^_^ If anyone would like to write one of those I'd appreciate it and you'll earn some gold.
Here is munchinmonster's review:
I don't really know where to put this so I thought I'd PM it to you.
I have just finished ready PTP (I got it Wednesday evening) and I never realized how great a read it was until I read it, I cannot believe that you wrote this when your were 15. It was definitely one of the best stories that I have read and like only a few previous books, I found myself up at 4am still reading, this is the first book in over a year that I found I was unable to put it down, on Thursday I actually fell asleep reading it as I couldn't put it down and was reading it past 4am.
How can I put this, I rarely get into the character in a movie, game, book etc. but I found myself feeling hurt when the servants turned on Hunter like that, and was overjoyed when that chain broke and he legged it.
Also it was a gripping read and I was sad when it finished, but it was a very good ending. You don't know the fate of Hunter and it lets you decide for yourself and James and the princess finding out the facts and going off to act on them.
When you said that OMWF was nowhere near as good as PTP I was skeptical but this book shot a lot of stuff I've read even stuff from people who have had decades of experience out of the water.
Really the only way I can sum it up is that I still cannot believe that you wrote this while you were still in school and that it was one of the most gripping and eye opening stories. Thank you for writing this and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, and thank you for recommending that I read this. This is not a story that I will easily forget.
