This is a disclaimer for all the tutorials found here. The information found on this page are just possible ways to create artwork. If you have a method that you like and it works best for you by all means develop it. I'm not here to tell you how to draw necessarily, just to guide you through any problems you may have with possible solutions because at one point in time I had them too.
I know where you are, I've been there and unfortunately the information I found was more like "Forget the mechanics of drawing, just do what we do. That's the only way to get good. Copy us completely." It is good for a bit of learning but it doesn't help you develop your unique and personal style.
The only thing I can tell you that you should do to become good at drawing, without exception, is to draw as often as possible. The adage "practice makes perfect" doesn't exist for no reason. I have plenty of sketchbooks filled with good things and crappy things, but above all else they mark my study and progress.
Best of luck. I hope this will help you with any stumps you face. If you have any specific questions that aren't offered in the tutorials please either post them or pm me and I'll try to be more detailed.
